I continue to use a loupe on the LCD of my DSLR just like I did on the ground glass of my 4×5. I picked up this tip from my friend Jim Talaric. Using a loupe magnifies the LCD image, reducing the button clicking and joystick maneuvering required when using the LCD’s zoom feature. It also improves the viewing …
EveryTrail.com is a really cool site for finding places to explore and posting your own trip reports.
The website is intuitive and easy to use and I’ll be trying out their Android mobile app soon.

Hello again!
I’ve been very busy lately (darn day job), but I’ve also been migrating my blog from Blogger to WordPress. Why? Well… Even for someone who is an serious Google-o-phile (ardent fan of all things Google), its become quite clear that WordPress is a superior blogging platform, in just about every way.
My old blog will go away. Actually, I’ll redirect it here. But I’ve migrated almost all the old posts, so this blog will have just about all the same content. I did not migrate the comments left by my much appreciated readers. I apologize.
