Denali from Wonder Lake
This is an image from the morning of the summer solstice in Denali National Park, Alaska in 1993. I used Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 to convert the original 35mm Velvia 50 transparency scan to B&W. I found it while going back through my archives preparing images for my new website galleries.
I felt so lucky to get these beautiful, perfect conditions (besides the swarming, voracious mosquitoes).
This will be the first of many images I’ll post here as I revisit, reprocess and add images in preparation for making my new galleries “live.”
