Day 5 - How to see Rome in just one day

Well not quite....

The Colliseum          The Pantheon

Although we did see a lot today, there is no way to fully experience everything in one day. I could spend a week visiting only the Sistine Chapel, day after day. It was magical, as was the rest of Rome. We learned the bus/train system (pretty easy) and probably walked 25 miles. Here are some of the sites we saw today (in order)... The Vatican Museum, The Stanzzi Di Raphaelo, The Sistine Chapel, The Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps, The Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, The Piazza di Venezia, The Coliseum, The Roman Forum, The Arc di Constantini, The Basilica di San Marco, and the Via Appia Antica.

If the legend of the Trevi Fountain (a coin tossed over the shoulder into the waters) proves true, I will return to Rome someday. And hopefully, I will have more time to spend appreciating the precious art and intriguing history.
